Ayumi is a natural skincare brand, inspired by the ancient principles of Ayurveda. A holistic brand, lovingly made in the UK, Ayumi is certified as both vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. Dating back approximately 5000 years, Ayurveda is an Indian system of health and wellbeing with the aim of reaching a state of content. Now, however, it is more difficult to maintain a balance in our new, urban environment. This is what Ayumi stands for - maintaining balance in our new surroundings. Ayumi is committed to making natural and mindful living available to everyone, bringing back the natural environment even to the busiest of cities. Bursting with aromatic essential oils, organic extracts and Ayurvedic ingredients, Ayumi is designed to balance the skin and the mind.

An intensive treatment to deep clean and refresh the skin. Kaolin helps to draw out the deep-seated impurities and soak up excessive oiliness in the skin to leave it radiant, revitalised and restored. Neem, rosemary, eucalyptus and tea tree oils known for their antibacterial and balancing qualities help protect the skin from potential external damage. A blend of peppermint, orange, and lemon oils uplift, invigorate and energise the skin and senses with a burst of zesty freshness.

The mask is a thick and creamy consistency and is easy to apply because of this. A few minutes after applying the mask my face pleasantly tingled, this passed as soon as the mask started to dry. Once it had fully dried it was time to wash it off. I like washing my face masks off in a shower as I find it less messy than washing them off over a sink. After I had washed my face, my skin was left feeling soft and looked fresher than before. The mask also smells amazing!
