Yes To Cucumbers Sensitive Skin Daily Gel Cleanser - Review*

Yes To Cucumbers was created for people with sensitive skin and colour-treated hair to gently hydrate and soothe with their organic cucumbers, aloe vera and green tea. If you suffer reactions to other beauty products, redness or irritation, or to changes in the weather then Yes To Cucumbers will suit you very well. The range calms and soothes irritated skin and helps rebuild damaged cells, keeping the skin well hydrated. There are no phthalates, parabens or SLS.

Yes To Cucumbers soothes sensitive skin with organic cucumbers, aloe vera & green tea. This Daily Gel Cleanser is made from a 97% natural formulation including cucumber which is a soothing vegetable extract and green tea, which is a calming herb. The Yes To Cucumbers Daily Gel Cleanser cleans deeply, gently lifting dirt and impurities from your sensitive skin, leaving your complexion soothed, calm and clean.

The product I decided I would like to review from MyPure this month, was this fresh looking Cucumber Gel Cleanser from Yes To. This product is made from natural petroleum and is free from SLS and parabens! I was surprised by the smell of this product as it has a very light and refreshing scent. I like using cleansers on my facial brush and this product worked really well with it. It foamed nicely and didn't leave my skin feeling dry afterwards like others can. If you don't have a facial brush you can simply apply the gel to your wet face and massage gently in small circular motions with your fingertips for about a minute. Then rinse well with warm water and pat dry. After trying this product a few times I would definitely repurchase it again as it makes my face feel refreshed and the gel itself smells lovely.

SkinLikes 100% Natural Roll-On Deodorant - Review*

SkinLikes products are manufactured with just a few, well-chosen ingredients. All are clean and fully traceable from origin to the customer. Most (but not all) are organic. Many are food-grade, which gives us the philosophy that (in theory) if you can eat them, then you can surely and safely put them on your skin. The fragrances that we use that give our products their aroma comes from the plant-based therapeutic essential oils that we use. None of them are manufactured in a factory.

SkinLikes have created a formula that gives you peace of mind which has no sting (even after shaving), kills bacterial odour in sweat instantly, doesn't clog pores or leave white marks on clothes and is completely free from irritating chemicals. Using food-grade, plant-based ingredients and nothing else, this product as with everything that they produce have not and never will be tested on animals. Apply this gentle, natural underarm deodorant after showering. In extreme heat or when exercising, reapply for best results. The wonderful natural ingredients in this product are Scottish spring water, bicarbonate of soda, xanthan gum and a special blend of bacteria-busting therapeutic essential oils and nothing else.

After having my eye on this roll-on deodorant for a while, I was kindly sent some to review! Since going vegan, I've found it quite hard to get on with roll-on deodorants. Sadly I haven't been able to get on with this deodorant either, which is quite disappointing as I really love the smell. My only problem with this deodorant is that it leaves my armpits feeling really wet, even after leaving the product to dry. I did find the roll-on ball itself very simple and easy to use, which is a surprise as some can be loaded with too much product or not roll properly. Sadly I won't be using this deodorant again which is a shame, as I really like the smell. I do recommend that you try this deodorant out though as it might be perfect for you.

Acorelle Eau de Toilette in Intense Cherry - Review*

Acorelle is a French range of certified organic fragrance, skin care, body care and baby care. All of the Acorelle Eau de Toilette range is 88% natural and are formulated by perfumers in Grasse, the birthplace of perfume. All of their scents are guaranteed to be free of phthalates, nitro-musks and colouring.

A tender, gourmet perfume thanks to the red berry notes blended with precious gardenia and orchid fragrances, underpinned by warm, woody base notes.

The second product that I decided I would like to review from MyPure this month, was this lovely looking Eau de Toilette (dilute form of perfume) by Acorelle in their Intense Cherry scent. I've said this before, but since going vegan with my cosmetics I've been eager to try and find to a good smelling scent. I've tried a few testers of various brands and scents, but I haven't found anything that's made me want to buy the bigger version. But for once I actually really, really like the scent of this Eau de Toilette! When I first sprayed myself I was hit with a lovely scent of subtle cherry. I find that I only need one spritz of this Eau de Toilette to last me a good few hours. However, If you like a more intense scent then this product is also great for building up throughout the day. I would say this product is great to wear during the day and during the night as it's a very versatile scent and can be worn either lightly or heavily.

Yes To Tomatoes Combination Skin Daily Pore Scrub - Review*

Yes To Tomatoes is specially formulated with witch hazel and salicylic acid to treat acne breakouts and keep oily-combination skin in tip-top condition.

This acne-fighting scrub is powerful enough to combat blackheads and breakouts, but gentle enough for daily use. Ground mango seeds and bamboo exfoliate skin and help skin turnover a clean, clear surface. The Salicylic Acid helps to combat acne-prone skin and blemishes, Tomatoes help unclog pores and a blend of Ginger Root and Bisabolol helps skin avoid redness.

The first product I decided that I would like to review from MyPure this month, was this Yes To Tomatoes Combination Skin Daily Pore Scrub! I've always liked the idea of the Yes To range as they have so many different products to offer. At first, I was a bit sceptical about how this face scrub might smell, as it is made from tomatoes... But after having a smell of the product I was very surprised at how mild the scent was and how little it smelt of tomatoes. I find the scrub itself to be quite thin, but despite this I find the small grains work well with the consistency of the product. After using the scrub on my face, my skin felt clean and a lot softer. With the spot/acne reducing side of this product I haven't been able to see any physical change in my appearance as my skin is so up and down lately. But hopefully, the more I use the product the more I will notice a difference in my appearance.

Salt of the Earth Natural Foot Deodorant Spray - Review*

Unlike traditional antiperspirants, which block the skin’s pores and impede the body’s natural sweat production process, Salt of the Earth won’t block your pores, instead, it works by leaving a thin layer of natural mineral salts on your skin, which inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria. Comprising 100% natural ingredients, including natural botanical extracts and oils, mineral salts and organic Aloe Vera, Salt of the Earth is kind to skin, allowing your body to function naturally while protecting you from body-odour. What’s more, Salt of the Earth deodorants are kind on clothing and won’t leave any embarrassing white marks!

Fresh feet are only a spray away with the latest member of the Salt of the Earth Family – the all-new, 100% natural deodorant formulated specifically for your feet. Containing calming aloe vera and infused with an invigorating menthol fragrance, the unisex Salt of the Earth Foot Deodorant Spray offers long-lasting, effective protection from foot odour, whilst simultaneously cooling and soothing tired toes.

I was kindly sent the new Natural Foot Deodorant Spray from Crystal Spring to review. The first thing I did was undo the bottle to take a whiff as I was intrigued by the 'cooling menthol fragrance' that's stated on the bottle. To my surprise, it smelt lovely and most definitely like cooling menthol (a bit like chewing gum). I had a family party coming up, I knew I would be standing and moving around on my feet for quite a few hours in my new sandals. So when I was getting ready I massaged the spray into my clean feet and let it get to work. After my night of moving around in my sandals, it was time to smell my feet to see if the product had actually worked. And guess what, it had! It seemed to work well and my feet were left non-sweaty and not so smelly as I thought they might be. This product would be great for both male and female, especially if you do activities regularly or you're on your feet all day and would like your feet to stay smelling fresh when it comes to the end of your day.

The Mooncup Menstrual Cup, One Year On - Review

Over a year ago I nervously purchased my first ever Mooncup*. If you'd like to read my first-time experience post just click here. I'll start by telling you some basic information about the cup... The Mooncup is a reusable menstrual cup that will last you years and years. It's made of soft medical grade silicone and sits a lot lower than a usual tampon. While a tampon absorbs your period (and everything else), the Mooncup just collects it and nothing else. The Mooncup is also said to collect three times as much than a tampon does! And because the Mooncup is reusable, you only need one of them, so whilst you're saving money, you're also saving the environment. If you'd like to find out anything else including what size to buy or how to clean you Mooncup then please visit my previous Mooncup post.

After more than a year of using my Mooncup, I'm still loving it over tampons and pads! When I first tried it I was quite worried about using it in public, but now I'm quite happy and very comfortable to go out with it! With my experience, I've found the cup very easy to use once I got used to it a few times and now I don't find it as scary as I used to! Since using my Mooncup I've realised just how much waste I'm personally preventing compared to using tampons and pads. I honestly really recommend the Mooncup. And even if you're a bit scared to try it just go for it, you won't look back I promise!

Yes To Tomatoes Combination Skin Clearing Facial Mask - Review*

Yes To Tomatoes is specially formulated with witch hazel and salicylic acid to treat acne breakouts and keep oily-combination skin in tip-top condition.

Say Yes To this 95% natural Tomatoes Clearing Facial Mask, formulated with tomatoes and aloe - a total deep pore treatment that refines, purifies and even moisturises your skin, while helping to keep your complexion clean, clear and balanced.

Apply a thin layer of Yes To Tomatoes Clearing Facial Mask to your clean face. Use a circular motion to thoroughly cover your face, avoiding your mouth and eyes. Gently wipe away with a damp washcloth after about five minutes. Refresh yourself with a splash of cool water and pat dry.

The second product I decided that I would like to review from MyPure this month, was this Yes To Tomatoes Face Mask. And guess what? it really doesn't smell like tomatoes! When I ordered this product I was a little sceptical about what it would smell like... Turns out that it actually smells lovely and I really quite like it. The product itself has a sweet flowery scent which makes me want to keep smelling it! I love how creamy and thick this mask is considering it dries very well. On the packaging it states to leave the mask on for five minutes until dry, I personally found this too long as when I showered the mask off I was left with a red tomato face! I think less is more when it comes to using this face mask. Despite my red face, my skin felt quite soft and after the redness had gone down I felt like my spots looked calmer than before. And I have to say, this is my favourite face mask out of all the ones I've tried so far.

100% Natural Konjac Vegetable Fibre Face Mouse Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal - Review*

The original and best Konjac Sponges with the purest Konjac and mineral-rich extracts. Deeply cleanse, exfoliate and detoxify skin for a radiant complexion. Gentle enough for sensitive skins and babies, our pure Konjac Sponges are the ultimate in natural, effective skin care. The Konjac Potato or Konnyaku is a perennial plant native to Asia and can be found growing wild at very high altitudes. A totally natural food source, Konjac is 97% water, rich in mineral goodness and low in calories. Naturally alkaline, Konjac is pH neutral which leaves skin perfectly balanced. Pure Konjac is free from chemicals, colouring, additives and irritants. 100% biodegradable and fully sustainable, this moisture-rich plant fibre is mixed and handmade into our sponges with natural water filtered through volcanic rock.

This is a fun new shape for the same high-quality Konjac Sponge. Designed to fit perfectly in the hand, this ergonomically shaped sponge looks just like a computer mouse and gives a thorough all over face cleanse. Effective in combating problematic acne and breakouts, without damaging or scarring the skin. Ideal for oily, teen and blemish prone skin, is pH balanced, refines pores, cleanses and exfoliates the delicate eye area, can remove water-based make-up, can be used with or without cleanser, is suitable for sensitive skin and is 100% natural, colour & additive free and 100% biodegradable.

Before use, rinse and fully hydrate your Konjac Sponge in warm water. Squeeze out any excess water, and gently cleanse skin. Massage in a circular motion to gently exfoliate, refresh and condition the skin. It is not necessary to use cleaning products, but a small amount can be added to your Konjac Sponge if desired. If a cleanser is added, the sponge will help the product work harder, and go further.

After use, always rinse your sponge well, and allow to dry in an airy place between uses. Please be careful not to wring it out as this may damage the delicate plant fibres, just squeeze between your flattened hands. You can also pop your clean sponge in the fridge to keep it fresh and cool, which helps keep your Konjac Sponge last even longer. Alternatively, your sponge is happy to be aired on a heated towel rail or from a window hook. When dry it will shrink and harden, this is perfectly natural. Simply allow it to absorb water and rehydrate before using again. Never use the sponge when dry. The better the care of the sponge, the longer it will last. And never leave the sponge in the shower or in a pool of water.

The first product I decided that I would like to review from MyPure this month, was this interesting Konjac Face Mouse Sponge with bamboo charcoal. In last months reviews, I reviewed a Konjac body sponge and because I liked it so much I wanted to give one of their facial sponges ago. I went for this shape, rather than their regular circled shaped ones, as I thought it looked a lot easier to hold and move around the face due to its shape. And I was right, it's so easy to use and it sits perfectly in my hand. The Konjac company have many different facial sponges made with various ingredients which all have different effects on the skin. I went for their one with added bamboo charcoal which is said to help eliminate spots and excess oil as it's a natural antibacterial and antifungal. It also contains activated carbon and minerals which have been used for centuries to absorb toxins, remove excess oils and fight hard to reach bacteria. I found the sponge to be really soft when using it on my face and I felt like my face got a good clean as it gently exfoliates but deeply cleanses. I find this sponge to be the perfect facial sponge as it's silky soft when wet and is very delicate on the skin.

Balance Me Congested Skin Serum - Review*

Balance Me is an award-winning range of natural luxurious, yet affordable, skin, hair & body care made in the UK. Many of their products are fully vegan however they do use beeswax, honey and lanolin in some of their products. For further detail please look at the ingredient list on each product page or email Balance me at info@balanceme.co.uk. Balance Me has been committed to the promise that their products are not tested on animals and do not distribute to countries where testing is obligatory. They also avoid ingredients that are tested on animals and do not use any third parties to do any form of animal testing on our behalf either on ingredients or on finished products.

The Balance Me Congested Skin Serum is an 'on the spot' soothing gel designed to diminish blemishes and calm inflammation. Spruce Knot purifies the skin and helps to balance oil production, whilst Kanuka Oil works as a powerful anti-microbial and anti-bacterial ingredient to clear congestion. Eucalyptus calms redness and inflammation without causing dryness or irritation. Can be used as an on-the-spot treatment or on a larger area of congestion.

The second product I decided that I would like to review from MyPure this month, was the Balance Me Congested Skin Serum. This little tube has a lot of great ingredients packed into it and is the perfect size for taking away with you when travelling. This product is suggested that it can be used both day and night, but I've found this spot treatment is best used in the evening than during the day. The main reason for this is that I personally think the product has quite a strong medicinal smell to it, this makes me prefer using it during the evening before I go to sleep. To use the product gently smooth a small amount of gel directly onto spots, blemishes or skin prone to breakouts after cleansing. The gel itself has a lovely cooling effect and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky or dried out after using it. This is a great product to use on your face before you go to sleep if you've had a spot come up during the day and want to help it along its way!

100% Natural Konjac Vegetable Fibre Big Buffer Body Sponge - Review*

The biggest Konjac sponge, the Big Body Buffer with 100% pure Konjac, sloughs off dead skin cells to gently exfoliate the body and give a luxurious all over cleanse. Regular use can help reduce blemishes, ingrown hairs and keep skin smooth and supple. Ergonomically designed with 6 waves, our Big Body Buffer is approximately 15 x 9cm, perfect for use in the shower or bath. Just add water for the ultimate in natural skin care.

I decided that I would like to review this Konjac Big Buffer Body Sponge from MyPure this month. I've never used a Konjac sponge before, although I have heard of them and I have always been intrigued by them. Now I've used one I don't think I'll ever be going back to using my regular body exfoliating hand gloves! This is most definitely the most gentle and softest sponge I have ever come across. The sponge itself came dry in its packaging and was very hard, so I was really surprised at how soft it becomes after I had fully wet it. When showering, I made the mistake of using a large scoop of my LUSH Cosmetics Rub Rub Rub shower scrub to used with the sponge. It produced loads of bubbles and it took me ages to wash the product out from the sponge. When I use my sponge again I now know to use just a little bit of a product as it seems to go a very long way. Overall I've really loved using my sponge and a couple sponges that I'm really excited to try out from the range next are the Bamboo Charcoal and the Green Clay facial sponges.

LUSH Cosmetics Let The Good Times Roll Fresh Cleanser - Review

LUSH Cosmetics are highly against animal testing and use only ethical ingredients. All of their products are handmade and are 100% vegetarian-friendly, not all are vegan-friendly, so make sure you look out for the Vegan Society Approved stamp!

This face and body cleanser is a gentle treat for the skin, leaving you soft to the touch with a buttery popcorn fragrance. Maize flour and polenta gently exfoliate, whilst cinnamon powder stimulates and leaves you feeling fresh and revived, with beautifully soft skin. This gentle yet scrubby cleanser will soothe and soften your skin, giving it a natural glow.

This cleanser is the perfect once a week treat for your skin. Firstly, I love the smell of this product, it contains actual popcorn so this product definitely has a popcorn scent going on. I like to use the cleanser on my face for a lighter facial scrub at the weekends for a little break from using my Ocean Salt Self-Preserving & Alcohol-Free Scrub during the week. I prefer to use the scrub by simply wetting my face in the shower, scooping some of the product onto my fingertips and then gently massaging it into my skin. You can also do as it says on the tub and take a piece of the cleanser in the palm of your hand, add a little water, mix into a paste and then massage into your skin before rinsing it off with warm water. The product itself is very gentle, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. After using the scrub it leaves my skin feeling quite moisturised but never oily, which is personally great as I suffer from oily skin. I will definitely be buying this product again when I run out of my first tub.

Collect five clean empty black pots and you can trade them in for a fresh face mask in any LUSH Cosmetics store.

LUSH Cosmetics No Drought Dry Shampoo - Review

LUSH Cosmetics are highly against animal testing and use only ethical ingredients. All of their products are handmade and are 100% vegetarian-friendly, not all are vegan-friendly, so make sure you look out for the Vegan Society Approved stamp!

Dry shampoo with oil-absorbing powders, grapefruit and lime to refresh your hair without water. This is ideal if you want a quick refresher between washes as it will soak up excess oil to leave a matte, clean look without any dustiness. Massage a little into your scalp and through the hair, then brush out.

I've always loved dry shampoos, I find them great for those days when you haven't got enough time to fully wash your hair. I really like the smell of this product, it's very fresh due to the grapefruit and lime oils it contains. In the past, I've tried a few dry shampoos which have left my brown hair looking a little white, whereas this one doesn't. I find the product to be lightweight and it's great at doing its job, hiding greasy hair. This product is also great for short trips away such as camping or when your hair needs a quick boost when out. The bottle also lasts ages so it's definitely worth your money!

Balance Me Radiance Face Mask - Review*

Balance Me is an award-winning range of natural luxurious, yet affordable, skin, hair & body care made in the UK. Many of their products are fully vegan however they do use beeswax, honey and lanolin in some of their products. For further detail please look at the ingredient list on each product page or email Balance me at info@balanceme.co.uk. They also avoid ingredients that are tested on animals and do not use any third parties to do any form of animal testing on our behalf either on ingredients or on finished products.

This seriously effective, triple-action face mask deeply cleanses, exfoliates and brightens dull, lifeless skin making it smooth, radiant and soft to touch. Ground walnut shells gently slough away dead skin cells and encourage cell renewal, purifying kaolin clay helps eliminate impurities and fruit acid complex works on restoring the skin's natural radiance. This enhanced mask with a bespoke blend of rosemary, palmarosa, lavender and Roman camomile oils help soften, calm and cleanse. All skin types and ages will be gently buffed to perfection and deeply nourished. Build this mask into your once-weekly skincare routine to prevent problem skin, or apply during emergency pre-party preparations for an instant ‘pick me up’.

The first product I decided that I would like to review from MyPure this month, was this lovely Balance Me Radiance Face Mask. I find this face mask to be a real treat for my face, once or even twice a week. To use the face mask simply smooth the product over a cleansed face and neck using circular movements to allow the ground walnut shell particles to gently exfoliate the skin. The product smells of walnuts as these are used in the face mask and the mask itself is a good consistency for applying all over the face. It is said for the mask to be left for up to five minutes, which I personally think is just about right as it goes a little tingly after that period of time. To remove the product simply wipe away in circular movements with damp cotton wool or a washcloth. After removing all of the mask I was left with a nice refreshing feeling and my skin was also left feeling soft and nicely exfoliated.

Love The Planet Reusable Cleansing Pads - Review

Love The Planet was started back in 2002 by Laura McComiskie. What started as a kitchen based project, quickly grew into a successful business with loyal customers all over the world. Reaching the finals of the British Female Inventor of the Year Awards in London in 2002 with her Washable Cleansing Pads idea, spurred her on to develop the idea further and launch Love The Planet. Over the years Love The Planet has gone from strength to strength and has been featured in many publications.

These colourful reusable cleansing pads are an environmentally friendly alternative to cotton wool. Simply use with cleanser in place of cotton wool pads or wipes to remove make-up. Place in the wash bag, wash in the machine and hey presto, they're ready to use again and again!

When I first came across these cool reusable eco-friendly cleansing pads, I decided to ditch the cotton wool for good! I think these are a great product if you're conscious about the environment or you don't want to keep spending money that's getting thrown away (cotton wool), after one use. I find these great to travel with as they're small and lightweight and they dry out quickly. I went for the coloured pads instead of the white ones as I thought the plain ones would look more grubby after a lot of use. The pads are soft like a towel and can be used for a variety of different things, such as applying toners, removing make-up or even just washing your face. I've had my pads since December 2014, which I've been using nearly every day since then and they're still good as new! I'm definitely a cotton wool convert.

These two colours are perfect for the Summertime as they're bright, bold and cheerful! I find that these nail polishes only needed two layers of the product to get a good opaque look. They also seem to last quite a long time without chipping or flaking off, which is great for when you're on holiday. I really like the range of different colours that Benecos has to offer us, ranging from dark to light. The next colour that I'd like to try out would be their 'Vintage Red', as I do love a good rich red!

Lovea Nourishing Shea Butter Hand Cream - Review*

The Lovea range is full of certified organic skin, hair & body care and is packed with nourishing natural ingredients. Lovea's nourishing hand cream is enriched with nutritious organic Burkina Shea Butter which is said to soothe and nourish dry hands perfectly.

The Lovea Nature Nutritive Hand Cream, enriched with Shea butter, nourishes and repairs dry hands. Made with 95% natural ingredients, its creamy texture leaves hands soft, hydrated and delicately fragranced. Non-sticky.

The second product that I decided to review this month from MyPure was this Lovea Nourishing Shea Butter Hand Cream. When it comes to hand creams I like something that isn't greasy, isn't too heavy, doesn't have a strong smell and it has to leave my hands feeling like they've had some good moisturisation! This hand cream definitely ticks the boxes of not being greasy or heavy and it leaves my hands feeling really soft and moisturised afterwards. I found that the cream itself was quickly absorbed and I wasn't left with any sticky residue. My only problem with this product is the fact that it smells very strongly of nuts. If you like nutty scents then this may be the perfect hand cream for you!

A'kin Jojo & Corn Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub - Review*

MYPure were the first UK store to sell A'kin way back in 2004, since then it has gone on to become one of the UK's favourite natural beauty brands. We have collected over 2000 A'kin reviews and the fantastic feedback is real proof A'kin delivers great results. A'kin is made from the finest natural ingredients, chosen for their purity and skin friendly compatibility. A'kin does not contain sulfates, ethoxylates, parabens, propylene glycol, petrochemical cleansers, silicones, phthalates, mineral oils, DEA and artificial colours. All A'kin products are ingredient-rich, vegan, and use certified organic ingredients where possible, they have been formulated without animal ingredients or animal testing. A'kin products are certified vegan by the Australian Vegan Society. They are also halal certified.

Reveal more vibrant looking, skin that feels soft and smooth with the help of A’kin Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub. This natural facial exfoliator refines skin texture by gently clearing away dead surface skin with the help of fine Jojoba and Corn beads. Enriched with pure botanic actives like Witch Hazel and Vitamin B5 to soothe and clarify, A’kin natural facial exfoliant will deeply cleanse and prepare your skin for better absorption.

The first product that I decided I'd like to review from MyPure this month was something that I've had my eye on for a while now, which was the luxurious A'kin Jojo & Corn Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub. When I opened the face scrub I was expecting a cream based scrub but instead, I was presented with a lovely smelling gel-based scrub. Even though the product wasn't quite what I was expecting it turned out to be quite a nice surprise. It is said to be suitable for all skin types, but if you're someone who suffers from dry or sensitive skin and doesn't like a scrub that's too harsh on your skin I would definitely recommend this product to you as it's very gentle on the skin. The product itself is quite runny which means you don't need a lot of it to cover your whole face. After using the scrub my skin was left feeling quite fresh and really soft. My favourite thing about this face scrub is the scent that it has, I can't quite put my finger on what it smells like but it's soft and sweet smelling, like a flower. I think this product is a great scrub to use throughout the week, alongside a thicker scrub that's used once or twice a week as I do prefer something not so gentle for my oily t-zone and blackheads! I also think that this would be a great product to take on holiday with you, as I've personally found that thicker based scrubs feel harsher when your face has been in the sun so this gel-based scrub would be perfect!

As for the planet, they believe in harnessing the healing powers of nature, but not abusing it in the process. And because of this, they believe that using naturally derived, cruelty-free sources is what makes their products work so beautifully.

The humble coconut packs a bigger punch than just a gorgeous smell as it’s also loaded with natural anti-inflammatory antioxidants. These help keep skin in tip-top condition by smoothing it and keeping moisture in. Its excellent natural moisturising properties mean it’s worth making products formulated with organic coconut and naturally derived ingredients part of your go-to natural beauty routine, helping to keep skin hydrated throughout the year.

Out of the many lovely sounding scents that Faith in Nature has to offer, the coconut range has to be my favourite out of them all! I really love using both the Coconut Shampoo and Coconut Conditioner together as they smell wonderful and they never leave my hair feeling heavy or greasy and my hair always feels clean afterwards. They both come in 400ml sized bottles which is great as they end up lasting me just over a month. The Coconut Shower Gel & Foam Bath also comes in a 400ml sized bottle and is a really great 2-in-1 style product as it lathers up really well which perfect for using both in the shower or in a bath. The Coconut Body Lotion is said to be specially formulated to help keep skin soft and supple whilst helping to reduce dryness. When I first tried this body lotion I wasn't too keen on the smell, but it's grown on me and now I quite like the mild coconutty scent. I also thought that this 150ml sized bottle wouldn't last me long at all, but I was wrong as it lasted me a good month! I find this product to be non-greasy or sticky and it seems to get absorbed quickly, which is great if you're in a rush! So as you can probably tell, I really like these products and I would love to try their coconut hand soap and hand cream next.

Salt of the Earth Pure Aura Lavender & Vanilla Natural Deodorant Spray - Review*

Fragranced with a fusion of over fifteen natural botanical extracts and oils, our multi award-winning Pure Aura: Lavender & Vanilla Natural Deodorant Spray must be sniffed to be believed! With a sweet lavender and vanilla scent, Pure Aura: Lavender & Vanilla offers long-lasting, effective protection from body odour and is made from 100% natural ingredients, including soothing aloe vera and antibacterial honeysuckle.

• Fresh Natural Fragrance • Long Lasting Protection • No White Marks • 100% Natural Ingredients • Vegetarian & Vegan Society Approved • Not Tested On Animals • Contains Organic Skin Soothing Aloe Vera •

I was kindly sent the Salt of the Earth Pure Aura Lavender & Vanilla Natural Deodorant spray from Crystal Spring. It has a soft, sweet smelling scent of lavender and vanilla which isn't too strong or overpowering. The spray is a non-sticky liquid and when sprayed over your armpits you're left with a thin layer of product to protect you throughout the day. I have noticed that it does stop me from smelling but it does make me sweat a lot more, especially when I'm at work or exercising. The only good thing that I like about this deodorant is that it doesn't leave white or yellow marks on your clothes. The product itself is said to be great for sensitive underarms and also younger skin as it contains no harsh chemicals like most unnatural deodorants do!

LUSH Cosmetics Ocean Salt Self-Preserving Alcohol Free Face & Body Scrub - Review

LUSH Cosmetics are highly against animal testing and use only ethical ingredients. All of their products are handmade and are 100% vegetarian-friendly, not all are vegan-friendly, so make sure you look out for the Vegan Society Approved stamp!

Limes steeped in glycerine, grapefruit and lashings of salt go into this invigorating face and body scrub - now in a self-preserving formula. The salty, citrus fragrance is refreshing on the skin and mind, like diving into the cool blue ocean. Sea salt is rich in minerals and excellent for scrubbing and buffing skin. We also added rich, silky avocado butter, coconut oil and seaweed absolute to keep your skin soft, smooth and conditioned. But why choose self-preserving? This formula contains only natural preservatives to keep itself clean and safe to use. Salt, as well as being a kick-ass cleanser and exfoliator, is an age-old preservative and prevents bacteria from growing and reproducing if used in high enough concentrations. What’s more, this exotic scrub is vegan, thanks to the silken tofu and Japan wax that help bind the mixture together. The added butters and oils in this self-preserving formula help to make it feel a tad more delicate on the skin than its preserved counterpart.

Did you know that there are four different types of this scrub... there's the original Ocean Salt which isn't suitable for vegans as it contains lanolin (yuck!), there's a self-preserving one which has alcohol in it, one that isn't self-preserving or vegan but is alcohol free and this one, which is vegan, alcohol free and self-preserving! I've been using this scrub on my face for a few weeks now and I think it's safe to say that I've finally found a facial scrub that I like. My favourite aspects of the scrub are that it's thick, great smelling and that it's great for exfoliation due to the salt. I love the fresh citrus scent of the scrub as it leaves my face feeling wide awake. I also feel that my skin doesn't dry out afterwards and my skin is left feeling quite soft and shine free. The best (and very vegan) thing about this product is that it contains silken tofu!
