Lavera Refreshing Organic Lime & Verbena Deodorant Spray - Review*

For over 25 years, Lavera has manufactured all-natural skincare and cosmetics to the highest quality standards. Using herbal ingredients, certified organic whenever possible, Lavera products are all formulated without synthetic preservatives, colours or fragrances, developed to be effective yet gentle for sensitive skin, and safe for you, your family and the environment.

This deodorant with organic lime and organic verbena provides long-lasting odour protection and invigorating freshness. Valuable active ingredients such as green tea and witch hazel form part of the effective deodorising formula.

I've been looking for a body spray for a while that I can use during work to keep me smelling fresh and a little more summery when out. When I was searching through the MyPure website looking for something to be sent for reviewing purposes, I came across this Lime and Verbena Deodorant Spray from Lavera which sounded like it would be really refreshing. So far I've tried a few Lavera products since going vegan and I've ended up with a good handful of favorites from them. With the Summer coming up I thought this sounded like the perfect deodorant to be using during the season. When I received the product I tried it right away as I was quite excited to try it out, but I was sadly very disappointed as it stung my armpits so much. It stung so much that I had to quickly wash my armpits to get rid of the product.  After that I checked the ingredients and I came across alcohol, I thought this may be the reason it had stung me so much. The next time I used the spray I decided I would only use it as body spray and not as an underarm deodorant. I really love the scent of this as it has a really fresh scent to it and it seems to linger quite sometime after it's been applied. Even though this product's main aim is to be an underarm deodorant I personally think it's a lot better off as a body spray and is great when you're wanting a quick freshen up when out.

Lavera Basis Sensitiv Anti-Ageing Q10 Eye Cream - Review*

For over 25 years, Lavera has manufactured all-natural skincare and cosmetics to the highest quality standards. Using herbal ingredients, certified organic whenever possible, Lavera products are all formulated without synthetic preservatives, colours or fragrances, developed to be effective yet gentle for sensitive skin, and safe for you, your family and the environment.

This anti-ageing eye cream contains coenzyme Q10 to gently smooth the delicate eye area. When used regularly, wrinkle depth is noticeably reduced and skin elasticity is improved. Q10 naturally occurs in the body to help regenerate the skin, however as we get older the body produces less.

The previous eye cream I had been using prior to this one had ran out on me so I decided to search for a new one on MyPure. I ended up coming across this Lavera Anti-Ageing Eye Cream with Q10 and thought it would do the job perfectly. As soon as I received the eye cream, I put it to work using it both day and night after cleansing my skin. After using the cream twice a day for a couple of weeks I started to notice a big difference in the fine lines around my eyes, this surprised me a lot as I've never seen a product work this well or quickly before! I also found that the underneath of my eyes look visually smoother and softer since using the eye cream. The cream itself is of a thin consistency (but you still only need a little of the product) which means it's easy to dab into the skin and because of this it soaks in well. After using the product I'm not left with a heavy feeling or oily skin which is great, as having a thick cream around the eye area is something you really don't want! I also like that the tube of this product has a small nib where the cream comes out, I find this good because I can apply the cream directly under my eye instead of applying it to my finger first. As you can tell from reading my review I'm now fully committed to using this product to help carry on reducing and preventing my fine lines!

LUSH Cosmetics Solid Jungle Conditioner (Old Formula) - Review

LUSH Cosmetics are highly against animal testing and use only ethical ingredients. All of their products are handmade and are 100% vegetarian-friendly, not all are vegan-friendly, so make sure you look out for the Vegan Society Approved stamp!

A solid conditioner packed with tropical fruit, oils and cocoa butter to calm your mane. Made from a cocoa butter base, this is full of fresh figs, kumquats and passion fruits to add shine and hydrate hair. It's also naked and self-preserving. LUSH mash fresh bananas and avocados into this base to condition the hair. Just stroke the bar directly down wet hair a few times; a little goes a long way.

It's taken me so long to review this Solid Jungle Conditioner from LUSH Cosmetics, that the product now has a new formula and a different design! This really isn't one of my favorite LUSH products and I may have to call it my worse. I found product very messy to use and I felt that it left my hair feeling knotty afterwards. My only love for this product is that I love the smell of it, it's fresh and fruity and the scent stays in your hair all day long. After trying this product I wasn't thinking of repurchasing it as I didn't get along with it, but now it has a new formula I may just have to try it out.

Veeda's Natural Cotton Ultra-Thin Regular Pads & Natural Cotton Regular Tampons - Review*

We believe that natural feminine care products that are better for your body,  better for your health and better for our environment shouldn’t have to cost more.  Sounds simple right? Problem is a lot of conventional brands are made with synthetic materials and contain hard to pronounce, scary to think about putting in or on your body chemicals, dyes or fragrances! At Veeda, we are committed to making all-natural feminine care products that are healthy, effective and price-friendly and also making them available to women everywhere, even if they can’t afford them through our social mission. Unlike other natural brands, we are proud to be able to offer premium products without the premium price.

I was looking through my emails and I had surprisingly received an email from Sandra asking whether I'd be interested in reviewing a few of Veeda's feminine care products. I was kindly sent a few samples of their Natural Cotton Ultra-Thin Regular Pads and their Natural Cotton Regular Tampons to try out.

Veeda's range is the cheapest, yet natural and still good quality brand that I've come across so far! All of their products are made without chemicals, synthetics or dyes and they're whole range is biodegradable, hypo-allergenic and fragrance free. All of their cotton is prepared using oxygen-based cleansing agents for a totally chlorine, dioxin, and pesticide free product.

Their Natural Cotton Ulta-Thin Regular Pads are described as being engineered for maximum absorption and unparalleled comfort. With their unique blend of highly absorbent cellulose fluff and their furrowed design to trap liquids, Veeda's Towels and Liners are particularly effective for heavy flows. Their oxygen cleansing (no bleach, ever!), "silk soft" coversheet, and anatomically-designed shape make Veeda Pads and Liners body-friendly and safe. When I first saw the pads I'd loved how slim and compacted the packaging looked and thought these will fit into bags nicely! I found the Ultra-Thin Regular Pads to be comfortable throughout the day and even though these pads are described as ultra-thin (which you might worry about), I didn't have any leaks whilst using them which is always a bonus.

Their Natural Cotton Regular Tampons are said to provide the comfort and reliability you value without compromising your health or our precious environment. Free of chemicals, synthetic fibers, additives and pesticides, you can be sure that only the softest, purest, most hypoallergenic material on earth comes in contact with your skin. The Regular Tampons were a little difficult to insert for me as I'm used to using an applicator when I do decide to use a tampon. Even though it took a little long to insert I found them comfortable to wear after they were in use correctly and they didn't leak during the day. I haven't tried these whilst sleeping though as I prefer to use my Moon Cup during the night due to how comfortable and practical I find it to be instead of tampons.
