BeBarefaced Anti Blemish Exfoliating Wash - Review*

At BeBarefaced we’re committed to helping achieve barefaced confidence through the power of natural ingredients. While we may appear playful, we take our formulations very seriously. If we don't think it’s natural and doing some good then we don't add it in! All our products are made with precision and care to deliver a category-leading performance worthy of your trust. Our high performing formulas focus on carefully selected natural ingredients combined with antioxidants and essential oils, ensuring that our products are honest, natural and effective.

Our anti blemish exfoliating wash is specially designed to gently treat and prevent stubborn breakouts and blemishes. It provides a gentle exfoliation that won’t leave your skin red and upset. Formulated with soothing, natural antiseptic tea tree to calm and sanitise congested skin, protecting from further breakouts. Pore minimising salicylic acid helps clear pores, eliminate excess oil and prevent spots. Gently exfoliating pumice stones help remove dead skin cells and prevent blemish scarring. Never harsh, drying, stripping or scratchy. With only natural alcohols, to ensure that it is non-drying and non-irritating for sensitive skin types. Skin is left feeling tingly clean, balanced and refreshed.

My skin's reaction to facial washes is very hit and miss, but when I came across this BeBarefaced Anti Blemish Exfoliating Wash on Love Lula it sounded perfect for me. I've enjoyed using this facial wash in the evening to give my skin a good deep clean before I go to sleep. My skin is left feeling clean and very soft after use, but be careful not to rub too hard, as the exfoliating beads are pretty coarse and I found this can cause slight redness. I find that this facial wash is perfect for oily skin, due to it containing pore minimising Salicylic Acid and Tea Tree which is a great antiseptic. The only downside that I found to this product is that the bottle's pop up lid is a little messy to use, because of this I would recommend using a pump instead.

BeBarefaced Mud Mask - Review*

At BeBarefaced we’re committed to helping achieve barefaced confidence through the power of natural ingredients. While we may appear playful, we take our formulations very seriously. If we don't think it’s natural and doing some good then we don't add it in! All our products are made with precision and care to deliver a category-leading performance worthy of your trust. Our high performing formulas focus on carefully selected natural ingredients combined with antioxidants and essential oils, ensuring that our products are honest, natural and effective.

Our cult favourite mud mask is the ultimate skin clearing treatment. Dead Sea mud and kaolin clay work to remove impurities, oil and congestion. Willow bark a natural form of salicylic acid works to gently refine pores removing dead skin cells for velvety matt clear skin. Feel the mask at work boosting circulation and targeting blemishes. Naturally formulated with mint and eucalyptus for an invigorating, skin awakening experience.

I came across this BeBarefaced Mud Mask on Love Lula earlier this month, having not used a mud mask for a while this one really caught my eye. I was a little worried when I read that the mask may cause a slight redness to the skin, so I applied the mask a lot thinner than I usually do. Even though I thinly applied the mask, it still worked its magic on my skin. I found the mask dried evenly across my face and was easy to wash off in the shower. My skin felt super smooth and soft after use and I'm looking forward to using the mask again. I also love that the mask itself smells of sherbet sweets!

I chose this GLOSSWORKS Nail Polish in shade Tyrian to review from Love Lula this month as it matches a bridesmaid dress that I'll be wearing later this month. This nail polish is a really pretty colour and is a great shade for the Springtime. I find that the nail polish applies well but it does need two coats for full coverage. The polish itself removes easily and leaves my nails stain free which is great. I'm looking forward to wearing this nail polish with my bridesmaid dress as it matches so nicely and compliments my dress.

Professionally formulated, high coverage shades with a volumising, gel-like texture; and an extremely glossy finish that does not fade. Last Mango in Paris is bright orange in colour. Apply two coats to clean, prepped nails, ideally after a Base Coat. Follow with a Top Coat for maximum lasting cover.

I was kindly sent an extra item to review for Love Lula this month. I ended up choosing the GLOSSWORKS Nail Polish in shade Last Mango in Paris from their new range of colours. I went for Last Mango in Paris as I thought it would be a great colour to use in the Summertime (when it actually arrives in the UK that is!). The nail polish itself applies well but you definitely need two coats for full coverage. I also find that this nail polish is really easy to remove, which isn't always the case with bright colours as they can get super messy. I'm happy to say that I'm in love with this very Summery colour and I can't wait to wear it against a Summer tan!
