Since rediscovering eye shadow I've been wanting to try out more and more colours than usual. I choose the Emani Vegan Cosmetics Trio Eye Shadow in Tango to review from LoveLula.com, as the dark trio captured my eyes. All three shades blend really well together and have a lovely shimmer to them. Unfortunately, the shade that I was looking forward to trying out most doesn't look the same as it does when on. For me, the burgundy shade is a lot browner than you think it would be and I was hoping for a redder shade. It's not a favourite coloured shade but it does create a great dark look when all three of the shades are blended together.

A light gel textured eyeshadow base that helps keep eyeshadow in place all day long!

I'm not an avid eye shadow user, but when I do use it I'd rather it didn't crease towards the end of my day or evening leaving my look a little worse for wear. That's where Lavera's Eye Shadow Base from LoveLula.com comes in handy. I've never used an eye shadow base before, so when I applied the product to my eyelids they did feel a little sticky afterwards. Not long after, I realised that the product had soaked in nicely. With the Eye Shadow Base on my eyelids, I am also able to create a darker look with any eyeshaow due to the moisture from the gel. The eyeshadow seemed to stay in place longer than usual and is a great way to elongate your look.

I decided to venture into some slightly different coloured eye shadows compared to my usual blacks and greys. And I must say, I've quite enjoyed experimenting with Ere Perez's Chamomile Eye Shadow Palette in Beautiful from LoveLula.com this month. I love the look of the white packaging and the palette itself is light and easy to travel with. I found these shadows a little creamier than my current ones so it took me a little longer to create the look that I was trying to achieve. In the end I was happy with my golden results. I soon realised that I've never had so much glitter on my eyelids, I loved it. I also really love that the palette is refillable, the shadows just pop out when you need to replace them with new ones! Overall I'm super happy with this Ere Perez Palette, I find the shadows a great shade for a night out.

I haven't used an eye shadow for a good few years! I've constantly felt as if I couldn't apply it properly, so I gave up using it. I've always liked a smokey eye on other people and when I came across this Inika Pressed Mineral Eye Shadow Duo in Platinum Steel on LoveLula.com, I decided to pluck up the courage and try eye shadow again. I paired the Eye Shadow Duo with Inika's long-haired Shadow Brush because I felt that having matching tools would be a good start. My first impressions were how classy the recyclable packaging looks and feels, I really love the gold and black design. I absolutely love the Shadow Brush as you can use it both dry or damp, giving versatile looks. I tested a look with a damp brush and was given the test patch above, I had achieved my perfect shiny grey smokey eye! I found the eye shadow super easy to remove with coconut oil and the Shadow Brush was just as easy to clean with soap and water. Overall I'm really happy with these Inika products that I choose to review and I'm really looking forward to trying out different coloured eyeshadows!
