Lovea Natural Monoi & Coconut Tanning Oil (No SPF) & Natural Sunscreen Spray (SPF 30) - Review*

Lovea Nature beauty care products use nature’s riches to keep you beautiful, the ingredients are selected with infinite care to guarantee maximum delight.

I decided to choose these two Lovea products from MyPure to review this month as the sun was starting to come out and I needed new vegan and cruelty-free sun protection and tanning oil!

Lovea Natural Sunscreen Spray (SPF 30)

Lovea sunscreens are certified organic and come with HIGH UVA/UVB ratings. They exceed the toughest E.U rules on SPF protection and they're also made from natural ingredients which help protect your skin. This SPF 30 cream is lightly scented with natural essential oils and provides HIGH UVA & UVB protection. The formula is water resistant, non-greasy and applies without white traces. Lovea is coral safe and contains natural mineral sun blocks combined with certified organic, bio-degradable plant extracts.

I've really enjoyed using this sunscreen (when the suns actually been out!) and it's a great sized product that you can keep in your bag at all times. Like most sunscreens you get that 'smell', the coconut smell is a personal favourite of mine. This isn't like your usual sunscreen smell though, as it smells like sweet flowers, which is just as nice and a little bit different from the usual scent. Lovea claims that this sunscreen of theirs is water resistant, non-greasy and applies without traces and I agree with all of these statements. I think this has to be the nicest sunscreen I've applied so far, it's really smooth, it doesn't leave white marks and it actually leaves your skin feeling really soft. My only problem would be that I personally find it quite expensive and it wouldn't necessarily last you a weeks holiday in the sun when applying every day.

Lovea Natural Monoi & Coconut Tanning Oil (No SPF)

This Tahitian Monoi Oil formula hydrate nourishes and smoothes your skin whilst helping you develop an ultra-fast tan. The oil has a double use as it can also be used as a hair mask for dry and damaged hair, giving your hair an intense brilliance and making it feel ultra-soft to the touch. Please be warned that this product does not offer any UVA or UVB protection. It may be used for short periods of exposure to the sun on the skin that is already tanned, as it does not contain a sunblock.

I've always been a fan of tanning when on holiday and I've always liked a good tanning oil to help me along the way. Like other tanning oils, I find this one to be different as it contains pieces of Tiare flower and it smells like flowers instead of your usual coconut scent! The light scent of flowers pleasantly lingers on your skin afterwards for quite some time, which is really nice. I also find that it doesn't leave your skin feeling overly greasy and it leaves you with very soft skin!
