Our range is based on wild-harvested African plants. Wild-harvesting helps to maintain biodiversity because rural communities value the trees for the annual fruit harvest. This means that they don’t use the trees for firewood and they earn fair wages for their harvest. Our whole range is certified organic with Ecocert in France and is also certified vegan and cruelty-free. Our products are 100% African and draw every possible benefit from their source plants while causing no harm to either man or nature. This is a good everyday shampoo for normal or oily hair. We’ve used natural, biodegradable foaming agents that won’t strip your hair and we’ve also added Rooibos as an anti-oxidant and Marula to help prevent breakages. Mint oils give it a fresh, pick-me-up fragrance. We’ve used Mongongo oil as a natural protective conditioner. The oil coats your hair and forms a protective casing when exposed to sunlight but doesn’t leave your hair feeling oily. As with all our conditioners, we’ve avoided synthetic conditioning agents.
Both the shampoo and conditioner smell fresh and fruity. The shampoo foams up nicely and gives my hair the feeling of a good clean. The conditioner doesn't feel heavy and leaves my hair feeling lovely and soft. Both are great products when used together.
