I've been on the hunt recently to find the perfect shade of concealer for my skin tone. I came across this Lavera Natural Q10 Concealer in Ivory 01 on LoveLula.com and thought I'd try it out for the underneath of my eyes. Unfortunately, Ivory 01 isn't really my shade as it makes my skin look very orange and patchy. I also can't seem to blend the product into my skin very well, but this may just be me not being able to blend very well in the first place. This concealer definitely hides any under-eye shadows but it's a little tricky to get it to look natural due to it being the wrong shade for my skin. Here's hoping that I find the perfect match to my skin tone soon!

Over the years I've tried many different bamboo toothbrushes to swap my plastic ones with but unfortunately, I've never got on with them. Having not tried one for about a year I decided to give them another chance. As much as I want to, I just can't seem to get on with any bamboo toothbrushes. And unfortunately, this one has the same fate as the rest. What annoys me the most is that bamboo toothbrushes are SO environmentally friendly compared to plastic ones. The reason I can't get on with them is that I really dislike the texture of the bamboo in my mouth. The head on this toothbrush is bigger than any other bamboo toothbrushes that I've tried and sadly it felt too big for my little mouth. I did feel that the brush gave my teeth a really good clean despite being too big though. So after trying yet another bamboo toothbrush, I'm sadly still in a love-hate relationship with them.

A light gel textured eyeshadow base that helps keep eyeshadow in place all day long!

I'm not an avid eye shadow user, but when I do use it I'd rather it didn't crease towards the end of my day or evening leaving my look a little worse for wear. That's where Lavera's Eye Shadow Base from LoveLula.com comes in handy. I've never used an eye shadow base before, so when I applied the product to my eyelids they did feel a little sticky afterwards. Not long after, I realised that the product had soaked in nicely. With the Eye Shadow Base on my eyelids, I am also able to create a darker look with any eyeshaow due to the moisture from the gel. The eyeshadow seemed to stay in place longer than usual and is a great way to elongate your look.

Other than that I really like this eye make-up remover from Lavera and I will continue to use it in the future.
