They actively support many positive initiatives and 10% of their profits are donated to work against climate change. Their deodorants contain no parabens, BPAs, aluminium salts or any other nasties of any kind. And lastly, plastic is never used and their packaging will always be reusable, then recyclable or compostable!

The Green Women kindly sent me two jars to review of both their original (women's) and sensitive deodorant creams. I was quite excited to try these out as I had never tried a cream deodorant before! The Fit Pit Original for women is lightly perfumed with rosemary and bergamot essential oils which are both said to sooth and lift your mood, I'm not too keen on this scent as rosemary isn't to my taste. Because of this I much prefer the sensitive one as it doesn't have a scent to it. I also really like the packaging of the deodorants as the glass jar is both reusable and recyclable. To use both deodorants simply apply a pea sized amount to your underarms with fingertips in the morning or after bathing. The deodorants then simply melt when contacted to warm skin. When using the deodorants I found it pleasant to apply due to the creaminess of them. I also felt like I didn't need to hand around waiting for the deodorants to dry and I was left without any white stains on my clothing. I found that I didn't sweat as much throughout the day, but I was left with a dry feeling under my arms at the end of the day. Bicarbonate of soda subtly alters your skins natural pH, which prevents smell causing bacteria from thriving. Unlike some deodorants it doesn't merely mask bad smell, it prevents it. And unlike antiperspirants it doesn't block your sweat glands, which means your body can still remove toxins, making it even healthier for you. I even got my Mum to try out these deodorants, she ended up really liking them and has been using them for the past few months now!

Please note: If you have been using a mainstream anti-antiperspirant, this will probably have coated your skin and clothes. It may take several days for this residue to leave your skin.

Yes To Coconuts Ultra Light Body Lotion - Review*

Nuts about coconuts!

'A super light body lotion that sprays on evenly and leaves no greasy residue. This lotion has made applying lotion all over that gorgeous bod of yours so easy! This super snazzy formula contains Virgin Coconut and super-light Jojoba Oils which penetrate the skin in a way that only few oils can. It's perfect for those with dry skin that require intense moisturise.'

The first product I decided I would like to review from MyPure this month, was this Summer sounding Coconut Ultra Light Body Lotion from Yes To. Yes To Coconuts is Yes To's speciality range for dry or cracked skin. This body lotion comes in a plastic bottle with a spray nozzle attached for an all over application. To apply the lotion simply hold the bottle a couple of inches away from skin and spray over arms, legs, and body. The lotion itself is quite thin but it's very creamy and moisturising to the skin. I found that the lovely coconut scent lasted a few hours before it disappeared, which is a nice touch as usually lotion scents don't hang around for long. I personally think this product will be great to use in the Summer as it's very light and doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky or greasy after its been applied. The coconut scent of the body lotion is also a Summer bonus as it smells light and fresh. I really love the nozzle for spray application, I found that I covered large areas in one go so it didn't take me long to moisturise my whole body. Overall, I will most probably purchase this product again as I think it's a Summer must have!

Hurraw! Orange Lip Balm - Review*

Hurraw! Balm started out of pure intent; a personal obsession to create the perfect balm: all natural, vegan, made from premium raw, organic and fair trade ingredients, complete with a bunch of natural and fun flavour options. They source honest, fair trade, organic, vegan and raw ingredients from reputable suppliers and are thrilled to share the labours with other balm lovin' individuals. Your purchase also supports legit fair trade, organic farmers and suppliers in the States and around the World. They're also gluten free, soy free and shea free, as well as containing no petroleum, parabens, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. And with a wide range of flavours from Orange to Earl Grey and Lemon to Chai Spice, you're bound to find a flavour that you'll love.

Super juicy, sun-ripened oranges are what this balm is all about. One swipe of our creamy orange balm will bring a smile to your lips. We use not one, but two varieties of fresh cold pressed orange peel oil which pretty much makes this balm the bomb.

The second product that I decided to review from MyPure this month was this delicious sounding Hurraw! Orange Lip Balm. I really love how thick this lip balm is, as it makes my lips feel really moisturised when the balm has been applied. I found the balm itself stayed on my lips for a good half an hour after applying the product, this meant I did need to reapply if needed again though. The smell of this lip balm is lovely, very subtle but sweet enough to smell it after applying. I also love the shape of the balms packaging as they're specifically made to not slip out of your pocket, which I think is a great idea. Hurraw! have a massive range of different flavoured lip balms and I can't wait to try more of them.

Go on, get out there, show off that wonderful gleam and paint the town…green!

The first product that I decided I would like to review from MyPure this month, was this fresh looking Daily Cucumber Moisturiser for sensitive skin from Yes To. I've always found a good facial moisturiser difficult to come by due to my oily skin. Surprisingly, this Yes To moisturiser nearly ticks all of my boxes! Firstly, the smell of this product is lovely it's not too strong or overpowering as it has a very fresh scent of cucumbers. I wouldn't say my skin is overly sensitive but it can get quite dry sometimes. I feel that this product helps my dry areas without being too heavy or oily. The only reason why it didn't tick all of my boxes, is that when you apply the product it can feel a little sticky afterwards, it did end up soaking into my skin which stopped this feeling.
